New to the Farmhouse this year is the Farm School. You can go into the Menu Bar titled Farm School above this one, and preview all of our 2011 Classes. The Farm School venue is located at Fresh and Wyld Farmhouse Inn, but occasionally we field trip the class to neighboring Farms.

The Farm School has three specific Categories of learning; Gardening, Homesteading and Cooking. In the summer months, we offer 4 hour classes, that include 3 hours tuition and a big fat local Lunch. In the late Fall, Winter and early Spring, we offer many 3-Day Intensives that pack loads of info and fun into the curriculum. These 3 day intensives let you take advantage of  30% off your Room, and still include Farmhouse Breakfast.

Another Big Event every summer in Mid-August is the Food, Farm, Film and Wine Festival. It is an event that Slow Food, edible Aspen, the Paradise Theatre and Fresh and Wyld put on every year. This year the Event takes place August 14th and 15th. Don’t miss this enlightening Food and Wine Extravaganza. This year, we tour 3 wineries and 2 farms on Garvin Mesa, located above Paonia. What a view! and what a food spectacle! Movies this year are Food Fight! and Fresh! Join Aspen Chef, Jim Butchart from Ajax Tavern, and Dava Parr from Fresh & Wyld as they Cook there way through many of Paonia’s Farms and Gardens.
